
BTIC’s next-generation independently-developed vehicle-used liquid hydrogen storage and supply system is designed for dual-side installation on commercial heavy-duty trucks. Adopting a forward-integrated design, this system deeply integrates liquid hydrogen storage supply process into three main components: left-and right-side mounted liquid hydrogen tanks, and a supply system. Compared with conventional rear-mounted arrangement for heavy-duty LNG commercial trucks, this side-mounted configuration saves rear cab space, enabling streamlined, low-drag body design for heavy commercial trucks, effectively cuts hydrogen consumption per 100 km. The system features low working pressure, high hydrogen storage efficiency, high integration, long range, light weight, and enhanced safety. Each cylinder has a hydrogen storage mass of ≥40kg, achieving a gravimetric hydrogen storage density of ≥9wt%. The entire storage system can hold over 80kg of hydrogen, providing a driving range exceeding 1,000 km. The system has successfully passed low-temperature and safety performance tests under liquid nitrogen and liquid hydrogen conditions, with comprehensive performance reaching internationally advanced levels.
